2/2/2024 – 4/2/2024 WKO English Kickboxing Championships – Barnsley

Fighters Chase Skinner and George Pitt-Stanley fought in the ring at this event.On Saturday, Chase took 2 Silver medals and George took a bronze. On Sunday, George won 2 fights back to back to become WKO English Kickboxing Champion (8-10years under 35kg category).

 

 

 

19/11/2023 ISKA British Championships – Birmingham

Some of our new team of fighters competed at North Solihull Sports Centre to compete in the championships, with the whole team showing an outstanding performance. We took 4 Golds, 5 Silvers and 1 Bronze.

  

 

18/05/2023 Bill Wallace Seminar

We held a seminar hosted by Bill “Superfoot” Wallace, who gave students and Sensei an insight (and practice) into his fighting system and techniques alongside a Q&A session.

Chief instructor Sensei Sean Kinsella would like to welcome his son Preston to our SKMA family. Weighing in at 7lbs 13ozs and already practising his guard.

 

 

13/11/22 Nunchaku Masterclass @ Playden Dojo

Well done to those students who completed todays Nunchaku Masterclass, learning the basic techniques and history of this martial arts weapon.

 

 

09/10/22 Battle of Kent Kickboxing Tournament sanctioned by the IKF

Ben Hughes (SKMA Crowborough) defeated Simon Donald (Paragon Gym). Ben put on a fantastic display of kickboxing and took a well-deserved win. We look forward to seeing him in the ring again soon.
